Our odometer reads 78,010 miles! We started at 72,967 – 5,055 miles thus far!!

Sunday, May 21^st will be just about half way!! Time does fly when you’re having fun.

We left Morro Bay on Route 41 a climbing, winding road through the mountains to Route 101 in Atascadaro for San Jose and Los Altos.  Stopped in King City for a second breakfast at Dennys (ps They don’t offer the Senior Discount).

I was driving so there aren’t any images for the first part of the trip which was just about like yesterday’s drive through wine and vegie land.

We passed through the Central Valley toward Salinas, Watsonville, and Gilroy stopping to buy cherries along the way. I took a picture of a gorgeous 1965 Corvair 4-door sedan, several California barns that are not like New England barns, and fields of vegetables.

We left Route 101 and took 85 through the suburbs toward Los Altos arriving about 1 pm.
